This decorative form of the Madagascar Laceplant is traded as “Aponogeton fenestralis West Coast”, so it originates from the west coast area of Madagascar. It resembles much the “fenestralis” form but differs by more elongate leaves and a somewhat coarser lattice structure.
• Do not make drastic changes to the aquarium. Unstable parameters will result in melt and rotting of the aquarium plant.
• Aponogeton grows fairly large making this aquarium plant suitable for larger planted aquariums.
• CO2 injection and quality aquarium soil will yield better growth.
